Squarespace is the perfect platform for solopreneurs and small businesses! It’s an easy to use platform that allows folx to design and maintain a beautiful website, with or without coding knowledge. There are many tools that work seamlessly for things like scheduling, e-commerce, and hosting online courses!
Squarespace takes care of all of the ‘system updates’ and security requirements without the end user having to do a thing. Additionally, when you choose a Squarespace plan, there are not hidden fees for services and benefits you might find with other providers.
As a designer, Squarespace allows me to create curiously custom websites by adding extensive coding that can then be easily updated by you using the drag and drop interface, all the while maintaining the design that we have created!

While our primary platform is Squarespace, if your project requires a more robust commerce solution, we’d love to talk about incorporating Shopify into your project!
Aside from that, Squarespace is where our sparkle shines!

Ultimately, this depends on what level of service you sign up for. You can see Squarespace’s pricing here. The perk of Squarespace is that there isn’t an add-on or upsell at every click!
Here is the breakdown for the cost per year for the Business plan:
Squarespace cost: $276/year (+ 20% discount for the first year through the Studio)
Domain: free for first year, ~$40/year going forward
Hosting: included with Squarespace
File storage: included with Squarespace
TOTAL: $220 for the first year, $316/year after that.

You’ll hear back within 2 week days. We value giving thoughtful and accurate answers to any messages we receive.

Studio office hours are Monday-Thursday from 10am-2:30pm. If we are working on a project, it is likely that work will happen outside of those hours, but if you’re looking to get in touch, that’s the magic hour!

Yes! We are happy to work with you on the copy — or web content — of your website as an add-on service. While it’s not our main focus, we can help you whip up something clean and professional to get you started.
We also provide a content workbook to help you (or your copywriter) along with what areas you might need on your website.

Yes! We can help find and select stock photos for your website. We do recommend, if possible, to have a professional take photos of your business for the most polished, unique website outcome.

We have a few check points built into our project timeline. Once we get a base design board down, we’ll check in for your approval. Next, we’ll check in again after the first design phase is complete for feedback on your pages! This will be followed by a few rounds of revisions to create a website that we both can feel good about!

Our Curiously Custom sites take 4 weeks to complete!
This time frame is dependent on all assets (photography and copy) being submitted before the start of the project! Any add-on services may also increase the timeline. It will be worth the wait!
Pricing FAQs

We do! When you first book your spot on our calendar, we require a 50% deposit. The other 50% is due at the beginning of the project to get started. That way, we will be able to fully hand the website over to you when we’ve finished our time together!
The remaining 50% may be split up into multiple payments before the project starts if that is helpful. We also accept all major credit cards which support paying over time!

We work on a sliding scale, depending on the needs and size of the folx we’re working with.
If you have more to give, consider supporting our work of supporting others. There’s plenty of room out there for all of our dreams to exist, so why not move us all in the right direction?

We completely understand being in the position of being a beginner on the path to where ever we’re going, or coming from a phase of having few resources. We believe that high price tags should not be in the way of accessing the right tools that you need to grow your business.
We offer payment plans to distribute the cost of the project out over time. We know that a website is a big investment and want to make that as accessible as possible.
Please send us a note discussing your circumstance and what you are able to put towards the project, and hopefully we can land in a place beneficial for both of us!
